Anytime I wanted to work on my life I have gone to that chapter first. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Honestly, I have always found it a bit overwhelming.  In a recent bible study with my youngest daughter, I realized she found it overwhelming too. We both feel like we will never make it.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Have you ever read Proverbs Chapter 31 and found yourself saying, "Yeah right?"  Well then you are in the same boat as the rest of us. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Good news!  When I really got to thinking about this chapter, I realized that we don't know where this woman was in her journey.  We know she didn't just wake up one day....whaa-la- you are the virtuous woman, you are a woman of noble character.  She probably had been in training for many years. 2 Peter 1:5-9 came to mind, especially verse 8.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; 5For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.&lt;/span&gt; 9But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Becoming a woman of noble character, or a wife of noble character takes time and effort.  It is a journey.  However it is a journey with a purpose in mind. It will take time and training and discipline.  Just as adding to your faith, goodness, knowelege, self control,perseverence,godliness, brotherly kindness and love are important,they are obviously something that we cannot master overnight. It is also important to add noble character, true value, trustworthyness, goodness, diligence in work, caring for your household, strength to your tasks, modesty and kindness.
